Darkwing Duck & Gargoyles #3
SCORE: 71
To me Darkwing Duck & Gargoyles #3 does not feel as good as the first
two issues. I am unclear how many more issues there will be in this mini
series. My research suggests there will be one more issue after Darkwing
Duck & Gargoyles #3. This comic book cost me $4.99. There are twenty-two
pages of comic book content within Darkwing Duck & Gargoyles #3. The
credits for Darkwing Duck & Gargoyles #3 are found on the backside of
the front cover.
There is a page devoted to the next issue within Darkwing Duck &
Gargoyles #3. We also get some advertisements and a cover gallery after
the comic book content. I will include spoilers in this review from this
point to the end. The issues families can have are violence, magic, lack
of attire, enticement to lust, a ghost and more. Gosalyn messes up big
time in Darkwing Duck & Gargoyles #3. Gosalyn provides access to the
Quackronomicon.
There is some Darkwing Duck humor within Darkwing Duck & Gargoyles #3.
DW has trouble saying Goliath's name in Darkwing Duck & Gargoyles #3.
There is also a found in Darkwing Duck & Gargoyles #3 where DW claims he
was not in danger, he gets dangerous. Then DW must admit that he is
sometimes in danger. I got a smile out that little interchange in
Darkwing Duck & Gargoyles #3. There is also humor in Gosalyn opening
certain magical books in this comic book.
Darkwing Duck and Goliath go through the mirrors to try and stop Demona.
The rest of the heroes are flying to the city with Launchpad. They will
try and get there to support Goliath and DW in the next issue. Demona is
almost stopped by this ghost at one point in Darkwing Duck & Gargoyles
#3. Demona uses magic from the book to dispel, disperse, or something to
make the ghost vanish in this comic book.
It would not be a comic book without some major cliffhanger at the
ending right? Can you guess what Darkwing Duck & Gargoyles #3 leaves
readers with? Darkwing Duck & Gargoyles #3 ends with Demona releasing
Paddywhack. I did not remember this character so I looked him up in my
research. Paddywhack is an evil ghost like character that can possess
others. The heroes have their work cut out for them to wrap things up in
the next issue.
