I decided to check out DC KO Boss Battle #1 after I finished reading
the DC KO storyline. DC KO Boss Battle #1 might have been released after
the final DC KO as well. I just did a little research and found DC KO
Boss Battle #1 was released one week before DC KO #4. I must not have
known that when I sorted the comic books into my reading pile. The DC KO
Boss Battle #1 comic book cost me $4.99.
There are thirty pages of comic book content within DC KO Boss Battle
#1. There are three pages of comic book content, and then we get two
intro/credits pages. There is a two page preview to DC x AEW in DC KO
Boss Battle #1. I already read that comic book as well. The DC Nation
Spotlight in DC KO Boss Battle #1 is on the New Titans. There is some
violence, blood, magic, lack of attire, enticement to lust, and more
within DC KO Boss Battle #1.
I plan to include spoilers for the rest of this review. World Forger and
Gorilla Grodd show up near the tournament in DC KO Boss Battle #1. They
are trying to stop Darkseid. They launch some kind of a strange power
that sends heroes and villains to other areas. I am familiar with some
of the characters in DC KO Boss Battle #1. There are others I have no
clue about. The Joker meets some creepy doll in probably some horror
franchise.
Superman winds up fighting Homelander in DC KO Boss Battle #1. Two
heroes are fighting Mortal Kombat characters. Wonder Woman is fighting
against Red Sonja in DC KO Boss Battle #1. The World Forger character
cannot hang on and these different characters and world start merging
into one. There are all kinds of odd things that happen. Gorilla Grodd
helps World Forger to put the various characters back where they belong.
At the end of the DC KO Boss Battle #1 the characters from DC can go
back to fighting in the tournament. DC KO Boss Battle #1 is a little
side bar that ultimately did nothing, and had no impact on anything. To
make matters worse nothing was decided in DC KO Boss Battle #1 either.
We do not know which of any of these characters could beat the others. I
feel like DC KO Boss Battle #1 is a waste of time and money.
