DC KO #5
SCORE: 64
DC KO #5 is the final comic book in this series. DC KO #5 wraps up
this storyline and a major story arc for DC Comics. The DC KO #5 comic
book cost me $5.99. There are thirty-four pages of comic book content
within DC KO #5. There are two intro and credits pages within DC KO #5.
The beginning and the ending of DC KO #5 contains advertisements. The
issues families can have with DC KO #5 are violence, blood, bad
language, false gods and more.
The DC Nation Spotlight is on the Matriarch in DC KO #5. Interesting
that they are fine with that system but lash out against patriarchs.
Expect spoilers from this point on this review. Lex Luthor is ready to
face Darkseid in DC KO #5. Time Trapper gives Superman all these powers
so Superman can take on and take out Darkseid in DC KO #5. Luthor gets
tagged out and Superman shows up to fight Darkseid.
Superman plays possum with Darkseid until the very end. The blows the
two are throwing are creating black holes and destroying entire
universes. Superman fights back from the Big Bang to rally against
Darkseid in DC KO #5. Superman has the ability to finish it and end it
forever in DC KO #5. Superman feels like the only way they win is if all
of them win. So he tags in all these other heroes.
Darkseid is beaten and knocked back. Thing is Darkseid is still alive
and still there. Darkseid will come back. Darkseid also has his own
universe where the heroes serve him. In a lot of ways I am not very
happy with the ending of DC KO #5. The status quo is kept in DC KO #5.
After all of that, we literally went much of nowhere. Superman is gone
for right now but promises to be back. I am not sure what he is doing.
I thought Time Trapper was going to defeat Darkseid and in essence
become the next Darkseid like character. Time Trapper decided he is
tired of all of the deaths and rebirths. Time Trapper makes Superman
promise that he will win. Superman does win DC KO #5 but it is also
temporary. I am not clear on whether or not the DC Universe is reset or
not. The next part of the DC storyline is All In Act II.
