The inevitable outcome of any tournament is we drop how many active
participants there are. DC KO #3 starts with eight and drops it down to
four at the end of the round. The DC KO #3 comic book cost me $5.99.
There are thirty-two pages of comic book content within DC KO #3. After
five pages of comic book content we get a two page intro and credits
pages in DC KO #3. We get a page devoted to the next issue near the end
of DC KO #3. There are also two pages showing the tournament brackets.
There is a DC Nations spotlight page and one advertisement page near the
end of DC KO #3. The issues families can have with DC KO #3 are
violence, bad language, false gods, blood, lack of attire, enticement to
lust and more. Expect spoilers for the rest of the review of the DC KO
#3 comic book. The whole point of DC KO #3 is a tag team. Each of the
participants are able to bring back any character to team up with in DC
KO #3.
Guy Gardner and Hal Jordan fight Superman and Shazam in DC KO #3. Lex
Luthor and Supergirl fight Aquaman and Hawkman in DC KO #3. Wonder Woman
and Big Barda fight Cyborn and Connor Hawke in DC KO #3. Zatanna and
John Constantine fight Joker and a mystery partner. The mystery partner
for Joker is Mxyzptlk. The characters pick their partners for different
reasons in DC KO #3. There are also some surprises.
For example Joker claims his partner at first is The Batman who laughs.
Later we find out that was a ruse. In fact it looked like Joker would
lose easily in DC KO #3. When he reveals his true partner then his
fortunes turn totally and completely. Supergirl first goes after Lex
Luthor until he hits her with all this different Kryptonite. Supergirl
destroys the two heroes for Lex Luthor in DC KO #3.
Shazam gives his power to Superman in DC KO #3. Superman gets even more
power than he had before. Superman easily takes out the two Green
Lanterns. Lex Luthor has admiration for Superman for using that much
power in that way. Joker is also leading according the tournament at the
beginning of DC KO #3. Superman, Lex Luthor, Joker, and Wonder Woman are
the final four in DC KO #3. The last page lets us know what the four
finalists will need to fight in the next issue. DC KO #3 has its
moments.
