Capes #3
SCORE: 63
After I read Capes #3 from start to finish I realized that my
decision to drop this title was completely accurate. I could tell where
things were going from the first two issues, and Capes #3 reinforced
that I was right about this series. I still have a few more comic books
in this series to read and review. Once I complete them then I will move
onto another franchise. The Capes #3 comic book cost $3.99. There are
twenty-two pages of comic book content within Capes #3.
The issues families can have with Capes #3 are violence, blood, gore,
lack of attire, enticement to lust, bad language, sex outside of
marriage and more. There is a four page preview of Phantom of the Opera
in Capes #3. The credits can be found on the back side of the front
cover. The back cover of Capes #3 contains the cover gallery. There is a
page in Capes #3 devoted to the next issue as well.
I almost forgot there is a letter page within Capes #3 as well. I will
include spoilers in this review. Knockout explains her connection to Kid
Thor in Capes #3. Miss Winters leaves her trashed apartment with
Commander Capitalism. This guy after Bolt falls in love with the lady
who is a fellow bird watcher in Capes #3. They are going to get married
and they just met one another in the last issue.
Big Brain has his powers back in Capes #3. The thing is Big Brain
actually is even more powerful and has been hiding it. The Nazi attacks
the headquarters of Capes Inc in Capes #3. Big Brain admits that he is
controlling the Nazi. Big Brain takes over the Nazi's body in Capes #3.
He leaves and explains he is thinking of the good of the company. The
company then gets all kinds of money to fix things up.
Capes Inc has a new boss in Capes #3 at the end. Many of the injured
heroes are coming back. There are new heroes to train in the near
future. There were multiple heroes that were killed when the Nazi
attacked their headquarters. The editor of Capes #3 thinks that letter
pages build community. To me it is just self serving and self promotion.
Plus they rarely print people that disagree with them. Nice adherence to
the fairness doctrine liberals.
