I saw Baby Garfield #1 when I was at the new comic book shop we are
using. I decided to check out this four issue comic book series. This
comic book cost me $4.99. There are two stories within Baby Garfield #1.
Each of these stories are twelve pages. On top of that each of the
stories has a cover like page, and then a blank sort of page between
that page and the comic book content. There is also a page devoted to
the next issue within Baby Garfield #1.
The back cover of Baby Garfield #1 contains a cover gallery. There is
plenty of humor within Baby Garfield #1. The credits for Baby Garfield
#1 are on the back of the front cover. I feel that Baby Garfield #1 is
more for the younger members of the family. I make a vow that the rest
of this review of Baby Garfield #1 will contain spoilers. The first
story within Baby Garfield #1 is Baby Garfield's First Word.
Baby Garfield is loving life in the first story within Baby Garfield #1.
He wakes up and realizes he is hungry. The thing is Baby Garfield cannot
speak yet. Garfield does all of these things to get Jon's attention. Jon
is not comprehending what Garfield wants. At the end of Baby Garfield #1
Baby Garfield lets out a meow. Somehow Jon then understands that Baby
Garfield wants some food.
The second story within Baby Garfield #1 is Baby Garfield's First
Hairball. This story is interesting, cute, and different. Baby Garfield
needs to get clean. Baby Garfield does not want to be brushed though.
Baby Garfield does not want to clean himself. Can you guess why Baby
Garfield does not want to clean himself in Baby Garfield #1? It is too
much work to lick himself all over.
Jon takes Baby Garfield to a movie in Baby Garfield #1. The movie has a
very stylish cat in it. Baby Garfield wants to be like that cat in Baby
Garfield #1. So Baby Garfield winds up licking himself clean. Baby
Garfield looks great. Then Baby Garfield learns about hairballs in Baby
Garfield #1. Baby Garfield also ate all of this food at the movie
theater and Jon had to pay for it with a credit card.
