Avengers/JLA #2
SCORE: 73
I heard about the facsimile of Avengers/JLA #2 and decided to check
it out. The first issue was really expensive so I decided to skip it for
now. There is only so much money we bring in, and I need to be wise with
it. Avengers/JLA #2 cost me $5.99. There are forty-six pages of comic
book content within Avengers/JLA #2. The intro and credits page for
Avengers/JLA #2 is on the back of the front cover.
The issues families can have with Avengers/JLA #2 are violence, lack of
attire, enticement to lust, false gods, magic and more. I promise to
include spoilers for the rest of this review. Krona and Grandmaster are
having a competition in Avengers/JLA #2. There are these items of power
that the heroes are collecting. The JLA and the Avengers are in a race
to collect these items. The two groups are also fighting against one
another to get these items.
Batman and Captain America come to an understanding in Avengers/JLA #2.
Batman realizes that Captain America will be able to beat him but it
will take some time. Captain America knows there are powerful beings
behind this whole game, and wants to get to them instead. Captain Atom
actually got to where the two main characters are having this
competition. There is a wager where the universe will be destroyed if
one team wins.
There is an interesting twist in Avengers/JLA #2. Krona and the
Grandmaster swap teams at one point. This means that the universe will
be destroyed if the other team wins. Captain America and Batman
intervene at the end of the game to sway the match in the favor of the
universe being saved. Superman and Thor have a very intense battle in
Avengers/JLA #2. Thor loses, then other Avengers take out Superman.
Krona loses in Avengers/JLA #2. Krona refuses to leave as he agreed.
Krona attacks Grandmaster in Avengers/JLA #2. The interesting thing is
Grandmaster collected these items for a specific purpose. Can you guess
that purpose. These items are powerful and the Grandmaster can use them
in some way. Avengers/JLA #2 ends before we find out what the full plan
is there. It is fascinating to me though.
