Anno 117 Pax Romana
SCORE: 74
There are plenty of video games that I play them and decide if I want
to keep playing them or not. In other words I go in with a completely
open mind. After playing a game for an hour or more I decided I did not
want to play more of it. Anno 117 Pax Romana is one such game. I played
other Anno video games in the past. After playing Anno 117 Pax Romana I
remember the good and the not so good of this franchise. Anno 117 Pax
Romana is definitely strongly in the Anno franchise.
The ancient Rome concept mixed with Anno is an interesting idea. The
issues families can have with Anno 117 Pax Romana are violence, bad
language, alcohol, false gods, and more. Families can play Anno 117 Pax
Romana in campaign or sandbox mode. The campaign mode will gently guide
you through the game. The sandbox mode lets you do whatever you want
within reason to an area. There are guidelines still though.
I learned early on with Anno 117 Pax Romana that I did not need to go
crazy. For example if the game tells me to build twenty houses, then
build twenty houses. Do not build thirty or forty houses. The game will
grind to a halt very quickly. I had to restart the game. The menu
screens in Anno 117 Pax Romana can be obnoxious and difficult to learn.
Once I did learn them Anno 117 Pax Romana was a bit easier to play.
As long as you are doing what you are supposed to do in Anno 117 Pax
Romana then you should progress the storyline. Once we get a boat then
we can discover other islands and start working them as well. There are
some very intelligent things within Anno 117 Pax Romana as well. For
example we need to get the lumber to the mill. How do you do that? You
build a road that connects the two. Then progress can happen.
The longer I played Anno 117 Pax Romana the more I unlocked. The
violence in Anno 117 Pax Romana comes when you get troops and battle
others. Personally I preferred the building and growing portions of Anno
117 Pax Romana. The memory usage of the system to play Anno 117 Pax
Romana is a bit on the high side. Families that enjoy Anno 117 Pax
Romana can get plenty of hours of replay out of it.
