ACA NEOGEO Selection Vol. 8
SCORE: 71
I am very thankful I had the money to purchase a copy of the ACA
NEOGEO Selection Vol. 8 on the Nintendo Switch. The ten arcade games
that can be found on the ACA NEOGEO Selection Vol. 8 cartridge are Art
of Fighting, Blue’s Journey, Crossed Swords, The King of Fighters ’99,
Kizuna Encounter Super Tag Battle, Metal Slug 2, NAM-1975, Puzzle Bobble
2, Super Sidekicks 2, and World Heroes 2 Jet. The issues families can
have with these games are violence, blood, lack of attire, enticement to
lust, and more.
ACA NEOGEO Selection Vol. 8 contains four fighting games, one sports
game, one puzzle game, two shooters, one first person RPG action
adventure game, and one jump platformer. Blue's Journey is the jump
platformer in ACA NEOGEO Selection Vol. 8. We can jump on enemies, and
then when we jump off of them they spin out and take out other enemies
on the screen. The 2D side scrolling looks a lot like 2D Mario
platformers.
The two shooting games on ACA NEOGEO Selection Vol. 8 could not be more
different. First off Metal Slug 2 is a side scrolling 2D shooter. This
game is like the other Metal Slug video games. Nam-1975 is a reminds me
of Operation Wolf sort of. We have a character on the bottom of the
screen in Nam-1975. We have a cursor that shows where we will shoot. So
we can move our character to avoid and hit the enemies on the farther
away portion of the screen.
Crossed Swords is the first person action adventure role playing game. I
love the concept of this game. The execution may not have been the best,
but it is still an interesting idea that I wish there were more games
like this one. Bust A Move Again is a fun puzzle game in the Bust A Move
franchise. Super Sidekicks 2 can be challenging but still a neat little
sports arcade game on the ACA NEOGEO Selection Vol. 8 cartridge.
The King of the Fighters '99, Art of Fighting, World Heroes 2, and
Kizuna Encounter Super Tag Battle are the four fighting games on the ACA
NEOGEO Selection Vol. 8 cartridge. I must admit that they sort of run
together for me. I have played so many of these arcade 2D fighting games
from SNK that they do not move me anymore. I like the tag aspect in
Kizuna Encounter Super Tag Battle.
