Zootopia #5

There are aspects of Zootopia #5 that are a breath of fresh air. There is one or two things about Zootopia #5 that I am not a fan of. I will get into that in just a little bit. The Zootopia #5 comic book cost me $4.99. The credits are found on the back of the front cover with some artwork. There are twenty pages of comic book content within Zootopia #5.

Spoilers will be included in the rest of this review. There is some humor and cartoon violence within this comic book. I am not that big on the art found within Zootopia #5. I prefer art that is more clean, crisp and clear. There is a page devoted to the next issue and some ads in Zootopia #5. The cover gallery can be found near the end of this comic book.

The fox wakes up the rabbit on a Saturday morning in Zootopia #5. He invites her to join him in helping out some junior rangers. Zootopia #5 has little to nothing to do with the main storyline and investigation. There is a running joke about how the fox should have put on his uniform in Zootopia #5. The rabbit does and she is treated differently.

The fox dresses up in fishing gear and the troop leader tells them they cannot fish because the salmon are not spawning. They are looking for gold instead in this comic book. One of the kids fell asleep in the canoe and it starts going down river. The two police officers go after the canoe. The fox gets captured by some bears and they do not believe he is a police officer.

The bears eventually help the fox save the kid in Zootopia #5. The find salmon spawning at the waterfall. The troop leader lied and was under orders from someone else to do this. That is the most about how Zootopia #5 connects to the investigation. I still enjoyed reading Zootopia #5. I wish this comic book was a bit cheaper for the amount of content.
