Zootopia #4

Zootopia #4

You might notice I reviewed Zootopia #4 and Zootopia #5 out of order. The reason is there was a mix up at our local comic book store. I put Zootopia on the comic book list pull and for some reason Zootopia #4 got missed. I did not notice until I read and reviewed the fifth issue. So now I am going back to Zootopia #4. Thankfully there are mainly a lot of one shots with a common theme going through them.

Initially I was not really big on the art within Zootopia #4. Then I noticed the art is being done in a way that really gives the impression of speed in certain areas. I found that very fascinating. The cost of the Zootopia #4 was $4.99. There are twenty pages of comic book content within Zootopia #4. The credits can be found on the back of the front cover. There is a page devoted to the next issue. After that page are some advertisements and then the cover gallery.

There will be spoilers in my review of the Zootopia #4 comic book going forward. The start of Zootopia #4 shows the Fox falling and then we flash back to find out how he got there. There is another string of thefts going on in the rich part of town. The two officers go to this building and start to interview the victims. Immediately I noticed something important in Zootopia #4. The windows are open. That told me someone from the outside came in.

While the officers are interviewing others the Rabbit notices some squirrels flying around outside. So the Fox goes undercover with them as an influencer and jumps off the building. That is how Zootopia #4 started. He is in this suit that lets him glide. The interesting thing is there is no way they could keep their arms out and steal things. It did not make much sense in Zootopia #4.

The next thing that happens is a drone comes by and breaks into an apartment. Things are being stolen right as the officers are there. They find the owner of the drone and arrest him in Zootopia #4. Same story as before. There are plenty of things on the phone from the anonymous person behind all these thefts. Another ring of robberies is stopped in Zootopia #4. The officers are still no closer to finding out who is behind all this.
