What If Donald Duck Became Iron Man #1
SCORE: 74
I have been reading these different What If comic books based on the
Disney characters for awhile now. What If Donald Duck Became Iron Man #1
is the first one that I would like to see more of. I would love to see a
number two, three, four, etc. Something about this comic book really
resonated with me. More so than any of the others. Sure additional
issues of the others might be interesting, but not as much as this one.
What If Donald Duck Became Iron Man #1 cost me $4.99. There are
twenty-five pages of comic book content within What If Donald Duck
Became Iron Man #1. There is an editor page, an art page, and a page
devoted to the next issue. The credits page is the first page within
What If Donald Duck Became Iron Man #1. Advertisements can be found all
throughout the What If Donald Duck Became Iron Man #1 comic book.
Warning! Warning! Warning! Spoilers are going to be in this review going
forward. Donald Duck has a lot of debt and owes Scrooge McDuck. Donald
is on a mission to pay off some of that debt by getting some blueprints
from Gizmo for a drill for Scrooge McDuck. The Beagle Boys are listening
in and kidnap Donald Duck. The Beagle Boys decide Donald should build
this drill for them. Their plan is to break into the vault of Scrooge
McDuck.
There is a bit of cartoon violence within What If Donald Duck Became
Iron Man #1. Donald is looking through the drive and notices the plan
for this iron armor. Donald thinks it is what would help trim the lawn
that was a big problem at the beginning of What If Donald Duck Became
Iron Man #1. Donald makes the suit of armor and takes down the Beagle
Boys. Scrooge McDuck trims a small amount off the debt.
The end of What If Donald Duck Became Iron Man #1 has Donald and Daisy
having a nice little date. I really feel like this fantasy universe
could be fleshed out. The old looking art in What If Donald Duck Became
Iron Man #1 did not even bother me. I actually enjoyed it with this
storyline. The next one in these What Ifs looks really interesting.
Goofy will be Spider-Man. I can't wait.
