The Trash Pack

I love getting to explore different eras of the video game industry historically. For whatever reason The Trash Pack on the Nintendo 3DS was not provided to Family Friendly Gaming when it released. Maybe that was a contributing factor to the failure of this hand held video game. Another possible factor is this game is not very good. I will come right out and say that because I believe in being honest and transparent.

There are a couple of mini games within The Trash Pack. We play Trash Catch, Trash Attack, Trash Drop, and Trash Toss. There is also a collection of characters to look at in The Trash Pack. The characters within The Trash Pack are gross and disgusting. The Trash Pack reminds me of Garbage Pail Kids in some regards. In my personal and professional opinion the characters in The Trash Pack are even more gross.

As we play the four mini games in The Trash Pack we will unlock the characters to go and look at in the collection. The music is okay in The Trash Pack. The sound effect are actually nice in this hand held video game that contains some 3D effects if you want to play it that way. I got bored with the 3D effects years ago personally. The graphics are not that great in The Trash Pack either.

In each of the four mini games we have health in The Trash Pack. If you do things right then you keep or grow your health. If you make mistakes you lose health. The Trash Pack is very generous to players in terms of that health. It takes quite a few mistakes in The Trash Pack to end the level. We also level up really fast in The Trash Pack. Some mini games are faster than others.

To me The Trash Pack feels like a cash grab. I feel like those into this franchise happily paid the money to see all of the different characters. Maybe they could not afford all of them in the real world. Playing a game like The Trash Pack on the Nintendo 3DS would be a more cost efficient way of getting the characters. I did not have much fun playing The Trash Pack.
