The Rising of the Shield Hero 23
SCORE: 70
I am extremely thankful I had the $11.95 to purchase a copy of The
Rising of the Shield Hero 23 manga book. Chapters ninety-three through
ninety-six are contained within The Rising of the Shield Hero 23 manga
book. This manga companion is almost caught up with the last I saw of
the anime. The other thing is it will be some months before the next
manga companion book comes out. So in essence I am caught up at this
time.
The series is done in a light novel format, anime, and then finally the
manga format. I wish the manga was ahead of the anime personally. I will
include spoilers in my review of The Rising of the Shield Hero 23 manga
book. The issues families can have with The Rising of the Shield Hero 23
are bad language, violence, blood, magic, lack of attire, enticement to
lust, false gods and more. Slavery is a part of the universe as well.
The Rising of the Shield Hero 23 introduces readers to Zeltoble. This is
a really big city where many of the Demi-humans from Raphtalia’s home
town are being sold. They are in high demand. The Shield Hero learns
about the legal and illegal fights as well as the auctions that are
going on in this fantasy world. The Shield Hero is trying to find ways
to make money fast so he can purchase the slaves.
The Shield Hero is also working on growing the town that he is in charge
of. It is rebuilding the old home town of Raphtalia. The Rising of the
Shield Hero 23 also introduces us to Nadia. She seems like a drunk that
is not very helpful at this point in time., She does give Naofumi
information on the Colosseum in The Rising of the Shield Hero 23.
There is a bit of a shock ending in The Rising of the Shield Hero 23.
There is a Shield Hero and Nadia are on a stroll at night when some men
attack them. Certain parties are a no show in the Colosseum and Naofumi
realizes the whole there is no rules may apply outside of the building
as well. The Rising of the Shield Hero 23 is building up a nice
storyline. I hope the manga companion books come out a bit faster.
