The Lara Croft Collection

Back in the year of our Lord 2013 Family Friendly Gaming reviewed Lara Croft and the Guardians of Light. The Lara Croft Collection includes that game and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. The cool thing is The Lara Croft Collection is sold in the physical copy format. Limited Run Games can do a few things right here and there. The camera for these games remind me of older Diablo video games.

The issues families ca have with The Lara Croft Collection are violence, blood, bad language, false gods, lack of attire, enticement to lust and more. There are curses and mythical beasts to fight in The Lara Croft Collection. The graphics are on the small side in this video games. The cool aspect to The Lara Croft Collection is the voice acting.

When I started to play The Lara Croft Collection I thought this must be an app. It has that look and feel to it. The shooting controls in The Lara Croft Collection take a bit to get used to. We aim with the R stick and then press the right trigger to fire. This gets weird at first. I was able to eventually adapt to it. Add in trying to move around with the left stick and my brain shut down.

There are some neat things in The Lara Croft Collection like getting to throw a spear, jump up on it to reach higher destinations. I also liked dropping bombs and setting them off to remove the traps in The Lara Croft Collection. Most of the screens within The Lara Croft Collection are pretty small. The cut scenes are also decent in this video game compilation.

I would love to see more compilations like The Lara Croft Collection in the future. It is nice to see previous digital downloads getting their love and attention in the physical copy realm. There is even a manual that comes along with the cartridge and the case for The Lara Croft Collection. I wanted to live stream this game but probably will not get the time anytime soon.
