The Amazing Spider-Man #965
SCORE: 70
I have been back in the comic book industry long enough to see them
completely reboot The Amazing Spider-Man. The legacy numbering system
for this comic book is The Amazing Spider-Man #965. The reboot shows
this comic book as The Amazing Spider-Man #1. How many number ones have
there been now? Nothing in the story warranted a reboot either. This is
the seventh volume of The Amazing Spider-Man.
The Amazing Spider-Man #965 picks up the story where the last one left
off. In a lot of ways The Amazing Spider-Man #965 is tame compared to
recent issues. The cost of The Amazing Spider-Man #965 wads $5.99. There
are thirty pages of comic book content put in some really strange
places. We have twenty-one pages of comic book content and then the
three pages of intro and credits.
I need to mention spoiler are going to be a part of this review. We get
to twenty-six pages after the credits before three letter pages, two
Spiders & Symbiotes pages, and one page devoted to the next issue. Then
we get four more pages of comic book content within The Amazing
Spider-Man #965. There is some violent content within this comic book.
Peter is trying to get a job, and getting denied over and over again in
The Amazing Spider-Man #965. He finally lands a job, but must run away
when Rhino attacks. Rhino has a heart attack and Spider-Man must save
him. Someone is behind that heart attack as well. Spider-man
investigates and gets attacked himself in The Amazing Spider-Man #965.
The last four pages is about some bad guys that appear in a desert
looking area. I suppose they are a problem that will be coming in a bit.
Sometimes these comic books drag things out with new problems. It does
make it interesting. The art in The Amazing Spider-Man #965 is really
nice. There are some great emotions relayed. Peter is on probation with
Shay.
