Tekken 8

I know my review of Tekken 8 may surprise some of our audience in Family Friendly Gaming Universe. I know Tekken 8 is scoring higher than the previous Tekken video game. I will explain all in due time. Tekken 8 is a 2D side scrolling fighting video game where we have the illusion of 3D environments. We can move around the opponent on the left and on the right. ultimately we are always on a 2D plane facing one another.

The issues families can have with Tekken 8 are violence, lack of attire, enticement to lust, bad language and more. The characters all talk in their native tongues. Does everybody speak everyone else's language? So one character is talking in Japanese to another talking in English or French. I found it a bit confusing. I did live stream Tekken 8 on our YouTube channel for just over an hour.

I played the story mode mainly. After live streaming Tekken 8 I did check out the other modes like the Arcade. There are online and offline modes within Tekken 8. I actually had some fun playing Tekken 8. The main story mode will take around three hours to complete. I put it on the easiest setting and was able to win around eighty percent of the time the first attempt in the fights. I did lose a few and had to retry.

Graphically Tekken 8 looks great. There are some quick time events within some of the battles. Tekken 8 smoothly transitions between player fighting and movies of the characters fighting. There are different fighting styles for different characters as well. If you want to fight with the thirty-two characters then you can do that as well. I feel like this franchise improved where it needed to.

Even though Tekken 8 is a fighting game, and even though it can increase the aggression levels; I actually had some fun with this game. I did not expect that. Tekken 8 sat in my pile for over a year. I was not quick to start playing Tekken 8. I wish I had given this game an opportunity earlier. The issues with Tekken 8 are still there. The main character has some devil powers in him from a false god. But he does not want them to consume him.
