Teen Titans Go #9

Teen Titans Go #9

I find myself really waffling and wavering on certain franchises. Other franchises start to grow on me. Teen Titans Go is one of those franchises that has been growing on me slowly. This became apparent to me while I was reading Teen Titans Go #9. I get some smiles out of the humor within this comic book. At the same time I feel really bad for Robin and the Teen Titans.

The cost of this comic book was $2.99. There are twenty pages of comic book content within Teen Titans Go #9. The credits are found on the bottom of the fifth page with some art. There is a seven page preview in Teen Titans Go #9 for Teen Titans Go on TV. I know there is or was an animated show of this franchise. I am unclear how that graphic novel connects.

There will be spoilers in my review of the Teen Titans Go #9 comic book. The Titans are invited to the clubhouse of the Titans East. There they find out about all of the amazing stuff they have like a chocolate fountain. How can they have all of this? Doesn’t it cost a lot of money? The city pays them for saving the city in Teen Titans Go #9. The other Titans want to get paid for saving the city.

Robin leads the Titans to talk to the mayor in Teen Titans Go #9. They want all of those things too. There is a bit of keeping up with the Joneses in Teen Titans Go #9. At the same time the Titans feel like they are being mistreated. The mayor cannot provide for their request since they damage the city when they save it. The Titans go on strike.

The Titans try a plethora of different ideas to get the city to provide for them properly. They let crime happen and the police stop it. They picket and that goes nowhere. They dress up like criminals and commit a crime. They fail at that as well in Teen Titans Go #9. They eventually go back to their lives and must mess up their building to get it back from Mr. Terrific. I feel bad for the Titans.
