Symbiote Spider-Man Crossroads
SCORE: 68
As I work on the graphic novel Symbiote Spider-Man Crossroads I think
about how this is the time of the month for graphic novels. Symbiote
Spider-Man Crossroads contains Symbiote Spider-Man Crossroads #1 through
Symbiote Spider-Man Crossroads #5. There are one hundred and twenty
pages in this graphic novel. Noah paid $7.99 for it. Symbiote Spider-Man
Crossroads was another graphic novel Noah found on the fifty percent off
table at our local comic book store.
Spoilers will be a part of my review of the Symbiote Spider-Man
Crossroads graphic novel. The issues families can have with Symbiote
Spider-Man Crossroads are bad language, violence, blood, magic, false
gods, lack of attire, enticement to lust, and more. Symbiote Spider-Man
Crossroads starts out pretty normal. Spider-Man is stopping crime and
criminals. Black Cat is given a tip to a crime they go out to stop.
Then things take a really odd turn in Symbiote Spider-Man Crossroads.
Spider-Man gets sucked into a portal and grabs some powerful magic stone
on his way out. The stone bonds with Symbiote Spider-Man and he is in
another dimension with Hulk. Hulk winds up getting the stone embedded in
his head and he goes off on a rampage. Symbiote Spider-Man is just
struggling to survive at that point.
Symbiote Spider-Man and Hulk get sucked into another dimension where two
different forces want the stone. The original lady wants it as well.
Plenty of fighting in Symbiote Spider-Man Crossroads over the stone.
This character has it, and that character has it. This happens again and
again in Symbiote Spider-Man Crossroads. Black Cat finally gets back to
Peter near the end of Symbiote Spider-Man Crossroads.
The ending is really anti-climactic in my opinion. Odin comes along and
he crushes the stone. No one gets the power in Symbiote Spider-Man
Crossroads for long. No one needs it either. The Hulk is a bit of comic
relief in Symbiote Spider-Man Crossroads. Especially when there are
references to other Marvel characters in Symbiote Spider-Man Crossroads.
Thing and Beast come to mind for me.
