Superman #874

I am thankful I had the $4.99 to purchase a copy of the Superman #874 comic book. The reboot numbering system shows this comic book to be Superman #31. This comic book is a direct tie in to the DC KO event. There are twenty-two pages of comic book content within Superman #874. The credits for this comic book are o page three with some art. Advertisements can be found throughout Superman #874.

The issues families can have with Superman #874 are violence, bad language, lack of attire, enticement to lust, false gods and more. There will be spoilers in my review of the Superman #874 comic book. The DC Nation Spotlight in this comic book is on Harley and Ivy. Sexual deviancy is referenced on that page. There are two pages on Welcome to metropolis in Superman #874.

Superman #874 follows along with the storyline. Superman checks in with his father at the fortress for any information on Darkseid. His father has no records to share. It is and was forbidden knowledge that was illegal. Clark spends time with his family and evacuates everyone from the planet. Superman then joins the fight for this tournament.

Lois does not leave when she should in Superman #874. She goes to the fortress and asks some questions. She gets a little more information. Doomsday or Time Trapper is the one that should become the champion. He was designed for that purpose on Krypton. Lois cannot get that information out before Superboy Prime shows up. Superwoman will make her return now.

Superman #874 does exactly what a tie in should do. The main story is reinforced in Superman #874. There is some good additional information passed along in Superman #874. I just wish the price was not so high for so few pages. I would expect thirty pages for this price tag personally. This series has kept my interest for a bit longer.
