Superman #867

I am extremely thankful I had the $4.99 to purchase a copy of the Superman #867 comic book. There have been multiple volumes of Superman and this one shows as Superman #24 after the reboot. Things in this comic book series has been growing for a bit. Superman #867 is beginning to show some of those progressions in some interesting ways.

Spoilers will be a part of my review of the Superman #867 comic book. There are twenty-four pages of comic book content within Superman #867. The issues families can have with Superman #867 are violence, and some mild language. The credits are on the second page of comic book content with art as well. I like how DC Comics does that.

After the comic book content is an advertisement, four page preview of Absolute Green Lantern #1, and then the DC Nation Spotlight On. Can you guess what the DC Nation Spotlight On is about? It is also about Absolute Green Lantern. I have not gotten into the Absolute Universe and I do not plan to with all the woke garbage being referenced. Speaking of which what happened to Truth, Justice and the American way? Superman #867 redefines that phrase.

Superman and Superwoman are touring Supercorp. Mercy is trying to talk Superman into selling technology to make the world a better place. The Khunds attack a country and Superwoman goes there to fight them off. Superwoman makes a shocking discovery on that mission in Superman #867. Lex Luthor is getting his memories back and is arrested for it.

The shocking discovery is that a Supercorp weapon was being used by the bad guys. Superman fires Mercy so she brings out kryptonite and shows us a new Lex Luthor at the end of Superman #867. I am very curious to see where this series is going next. Superman #867 has a nice twist ending. I am eager to read the next issue of this series.
