Stranger Things and Dungeons and Dragons #2
SCORE: 59
I just finished reading the Stranger Things and Dungeons and Dragons
#2 comic book. There are twenty pages of comic book content within
Stranger Things and Dungeons and Dragons #2. The cost of this comic book
was $4.99. The back side of the front cover contains the intro and the
credits. There is a page devoted to the next issue.
Spoilers are a major part of this review. The issues families can have
with Stranger Things and Dungeons and Dragons #2 are violence, blood,
magic, false gods, bad language, and more. There is a hopping around
between two different time periods in Stranger Things and Dungeons and
Dragons #2. The story is told in an interesting way as well.
The most fascinating thing about Stranger Things and Dungeons and
Dragons #2 to me is the admissions that Dungeons and Dragons is
addicting. I know plenty of people that got addicted to that game. I
think that is why there was some resistance to the game. This comic book
hints at parents having an issue with D&D.
Initially the Mirkwood gang tells Eddie no to his offer of joining the
Hellfire Club. They miss their friends that moved away and do not want
to have new adventures without those friends. Eddie does an amazing
sales job to get them to change their mind. At the end of Stranger
Things and Dungeons and Dragons #2 they decide to join the game.
The past story in Stranger Things and Dungeons and Dragons #2 shows
different people and how they were brought into the game. Peer pressure,
lying to parents and other things were done. Once someone got into the
game, they were addicted and stuck. I do not think Stranger Things and
Dungeons and Dragons #2 meant to show that but it stands out for me.
