Star Wars Adventures Smuggler’s Run

One of these days I will buy some graphic novels again. Right now I am just trying to get through the ones Noah purchased. Star Wars Adventures Smuggler’s Run cost him $4.99. Yes this graphic novel was on the fifty percent off table at our local comic book store. There are eighty pages of content within Star Wars Adventures Smuggler’s Run.

Spoilers are a part of my review of the Star Wars Adventures Smuggler’s Run graphic novel. I had some idea what to expect from this graphic novel due to the front cover. Han Solo and Chewbacca go on a mission to Crykon. They are there to get an operative of the Rebels back safely. There are Empire forces trying to find this operative.

What makes this one rebel operative so special in Star Wars Adventures Smuggler’s Run? He is looking for new places for the Rebels to have and make bases. The Rebels are trying to stay a few steps ahead of the Empire in Star Wars Adventures Smuggler’s Run. There are also a few things that complicate things in this graphic novel.

Bounty hunters are trying to get ahold of Han Solo in Star Wars Adventures Smuggler’s Run. In fact the Empire shows up to see Bounty hunters attacking Han Solo and Chewbacca at one point. The two smugglers get the Empire to take on the Bounty hunters for them. That way Han Solo and Chewbacca can make their escape in the chaos.

The Rebels are able to escape in Star Wars Adventures Smuggler’s Run. The Empire chose not to murder thousands of people just to get the Rebels. It feels like Star Wars Adventures Smuggler’s Run could have happened in the storyline of the first three movies. The art is fantastic in Star Wars Adventures Smuggler’s Run. There is some violent content within this graphic novel.
