Speed Racer #1

I am thankful I had the $4.99 to purchase a copy of the Speed Racer #1 comic book. There are twenty-six pages of comic book content within Speed Racer #1. The last two pages of comic book content within Speed Racer #1 are in relation to Racer X. The credits can be found on the back of the front cover of the Speed Racer #1 comic book.

There is a page devoted to the next issue after the comic book content. There are some ads in Speed Racer #1 near the end. Spoilers will be included in this review going forward. The issues families can have with Speed Racer #1 are violence, blood, lack of attire, enticement to lust and more. I can feel Fast and Furious influences in Speed Racer #1.

There is definite friction between Speed and his father in this comic book. The younger brother has a monkey in this common book. The younger brother is hustling people for money in relation to his brother racing. There are some references to gambling in Speed Racer #1. The art within this comic book is fantastic.

The father once of getting beat up pretty badly in Speed Racer #1. Speed take his father to the hospital. The police wind up arresting the main character at the end of Speed Racer #1. The police I’ve been looking for him for some time. I am not sure where this series will go next. Speed wants to enter a certain racing circuit in Speed Racer #1.

The son is racing and making money to help pay the bills. Speed Racer #1 let’s readers know the mother left. They have quite a hard life. The father already lost one son or so he thinks. That is why he does not want his other son to go racing. There is definitely some drama within Speed Racer #1. The character motivations are done quite well.
