Sonic Racing Crossworlds

I was really surprised that after two live streams I got the credits in Sonic Racing Crossworlds. That is half of the live streams I played through Mario Kart World. There is one secret circuit that opens for Sonic Racing Crossworlds after the credits roll. There are plans for two more circuits to open up in the future. I suspect they will be paid DLC though. I am disappointed in the length of Sonic Racing Crossworlds.

Sonic Racing Crossworlds is ten dollars cheaper than Mario Kart World. With around half of the content and no open world to explore Sonic Racing Crossworlds should be half the price not just ten dollars cheaper. There is an interesting thing that is done in Sonic Racing Crossworlds. We race the first lap in the area we are in. Then we race the second lap in another track. Finally the third lap is back to the main and original track. This is a bit clever.

The player that is in first place decides if we go to the track assigned in the second lap or to a random track. I did a lot of random tracks at first because I thought those tracks were ones I had not been to before. I started racing the random ones in later circuits. Sonic Racing Crossworlds contains multiple speed settings. Even at the lowest setting things are moving pretty fast in Sonic Racing Crossworlds.

Steering assists can be helpful at times in Sonic Racing Crossworlds. Other times the steering assist would not let me get to say the red circle star rings. There are different gears we can add to vehicles in Sonic Racing Crossworlds. These can give us multiple boosts for use at the beginning for example. Or maybe you want to be in a monster truck. The more a player races the more slots they open.

Sonic Racing Crossworlds looks good and it sounds good. I loved hearing the different phrases from the rivals in Sonic Racing Crossworlds. There are four races in each circuit. The final race is a lap from the previous tracks. The red star rings are not in that final race sadly. Players can re-race circuits to get all of those red star rings. There are tickets earned for doing different things in Sonic Racing Crossworlds. Those tickets are spend on different vehicles and parts.

Overall I liked Sonic Racing Crossworlds. I feel like this kart racing game is too short. I like the different areas we can go to in a race. I like how the tracks change between laps in Sonic Racing Crossworlds too. I have already moved onto other games personally. I would like to come back and record a race of that secret circuit when I get an opening in my schedule. If enough money came in for me to do this full time that would be pretty soon.
