Silverhawks #3

There are some interesting comic books that present the concept of irony quite well. Silverhawks #3 is one of those comic books. This comic book series still makes me yearn for the original cartoon which I think will be better than this comic book series. The Silverhawks #3 comic book cost me $4.99. There are twenty-two pages of comic book content within Silverhawks #3. Advertisements can be found here and there within this comic book.

The issues families can have with Silverhawks #3 are violence, magic, blood, and more. The intro and credits are on the back of the front cover of the Silverhawks #3 comic book. There are three cover gallery pages near the end of the Silverhawks #3 comic book. It looks like we may have a new recruit in Silverhawks #3. There is also something in Silverhawks #3 that I absolutely despise. More on that in a bit. Spoilers in this review.

Silverhawks #3 starts us on the planet of Mimes. Quicksilver is training and not doing so well in Silverhawks #3. Quicksilver is being taught to expect an ambush. Remember that okay. The magician man from the last issue sees the training and decides he wants to volunteer. Mon-Star messed up his people a long time ago. He wants some payback. So it sounds like he may be in.

The older Silverhawks wind out about Windhammer attacking the planet of Mimes. The older Silverhawks make the young one stay behind. The older Silverhawks go to the planet and capture Windhammer in Silverhawks #3. Mon-Star shows up and attacks the four older Silverhawks. Three of them look dead in Silverhawks #3. The last one is left alive to pass along a message.

The Dynamite Dispatch is right after the comic book content. Mon-Star is able to easily slice through the Silverhawks in Silverhawks #3. The irony is the older Silverhawks were telling the younger one to expect ambushes and they were ambushed. I am not a fan of killing off the older ones to make way for the newer ones. That is a personal thing though. How will the new Quicksilver train now?
