Red Hulk #2
SCORE: 69
There are numerous comic books in the Marvel Universe dealing with
the One World Under Doom storyline. Very few have interested me
personally. The Red Hulk series is showing me some interesting behind
the scenes concepts. Red Hulk #2 also taught me some interesting things
about the Red Hulk character I did not know. I am not the most versed on
this character which is partly why I wanted to read this series.
Spoilers are going to be a part of my Red Hulk #2 comic book review. The
issues families can have with Red Hulk #2 are violence, bad language and
more. This comic book contains an intro and credits page. There are
twenty pages of comic book content within Red Hulk #2. The price of Red
Hulk #2 was $3.99. There is a page in Red Hulk #2 devoted to the next
issue. Advertisements can be found throughout the Red Hulk #2 comic
book.
Thunderbolt Ross and Machine Man are trying to escape. Thunderbolt Ross
turns into the Red Hulk and trashes all these Doombots. The power
dampening color is removed from Machine Man. Thunderbolt Ross uses up
all of his Red Hulk power in Red Hulk #2. More Doombots are on their
way. They are able to free Deathlok, and Simon Ryker in Red Hulk #2.
There is some gas that is killing the other prisoners though.
The four characters make it outside in Red Hulk #2. At this point there
are so many Doombots that they form into a giant Doctor Doom that gives
them an ultimatum. I find it interesting that Doom killed all of those
prisoners instead of let them escape. I guess there is some logic there.
At the same time it feels like such a waste of resources to me. They
were the think tank helping you. Maybe give them better living
conditions or something.
I learned in Red Hulk #2 that the Red Hulk character can only stay
powered so long unless there is a source of radiation to fuel him. When
the Red Hulk gets outside he can feed on the radiation from the sun.
That means that he should be able to transform and fight in the next
issue. Thus far this series is continuing to catch my interest. I am
curious to see where it goes from here.
