Parks and Recreation Season 1
SCORE: 59
I purchased the entire Parks and Recreation series. I am doing what I
do with other television shows and review them one season at a time.
That means Parks and Recreation Season 1 is up first. The entire season
is on one DVD disc. There are only six episodes that make up Parks and
Recreation Season 1. There will be spoilers in this review of the Parks
and Recreation Season 1 television show.
The issues families can have with Parks and Recreation Season 1 are lack
of attire, enticement to lust, bad language, promotion of sexual
deviancy and more. There is an episode where kids are searching for
Easter Eggs. The guy forgot to hide them which makes it sort of funny
when others talk about how good of a job he did hiding the eggs. There
are some funny moments within Parks and Recreation Season 1 here and
there.
The main storyline is there is this pit in this neighborhood that
someone broke two legs falling into. So the decision is made to fill in
the pit and then make a park out of it. We follow government workers in
the same style as The Office in Parks and Recreation Season 1. They
admit to all kinds of horrible things. The boss man is one of my
favorite characters in Parks and Recreation Season 1.
We meet the nurse and her boyfriend. The boyfriend is the one that broke
both of his legs. There are all kinds of inappropriate things that
happen within Parks and Recreation Season 1. There are bars, drinking,
characters hitting on one another and more. This one guy is married and
trying to cheat on his wife in Parks and Recreation Season 1. The
characters in this show are not role models.
Parks and Recreation Season 1 promotes the belief there is all of this
red tape in government to get things done. That is true in some regards.
In other regards it is not really accurate or true. Parks and Recreation
Season 1 is the Hollywood viewpoint of government. The waste and fraud
in Parks and Recreation Season 1 is actually pretty deep. Aspects of
this show are based in reality.
