Park Beyond

One of the things I love about playing new video games is learning about them. My live stream of Park Beyond was the first time I played this amusement park creation video game. There are some great things in Park Beyond. There are definitely some areas for this franchise to improve in the near future. I will try and get into all of that in this review of Park Beyond. I played Park Beyond on the PlayStation 5. Park Beyond can also be found on the PC, and Xbox Series X.

Graphically Park Beyond looks nice. There are some interesting characters within Park Beyond. The story mode has a great example of this. We are building a roller coaster in the middle of a city. How does that work? Don't we need permits or something? I ran into issues with the controls in Park Beyond immediately. The small text mixed with confusing controls caused me all kinds of fits.

Eventually I figured out how to do most things in Park Beyond. Sadly a lot of Park Beyond is not very intuitive. For example in the Sandbox mode we need to put an entrance and an exit to the flat rides and coasters to the path. This was not immediately apparent to me. In fact I thought I was done with a ride only to find out it would not start. Maybe it was ready to go but required another action from me to begin.

The coolest thing in Park Beyond is going into first person mode and riding the different rides. That is the part of Park Beyond that I really liked the best. I will warn you that you might get sick from some of these rides. It depends on the different motions the rides put the riders on. Families can enjoy a plethora or rides in Park Beyond. I wish we could do that same visual in terms of the shops.

I enjoyed my time with Park Beyond. Once I got past the confusion on the controls things got better. I found Park Beyond is better if you put down the previously planned roller coasters. They are fun to ride as well. The only issue there is having to wait for patrons to come to the ride and fill it up. I had to be patient and wait for that for the ride to start in Park Beyond.
