Pac-Man World Re-Pac
SCORE: 73
Want to know something that is kind of funny? At the very least it is
very topical. I started to live stream Pac-Man World Re-Pac on our
Twitch channel and then found out the sequel was announced to be
released later in 2025. I find that very fascinating. I had no idea they
were going to be bringing back the sequel. That is actually pretty cool.
It took me around six hours to beat Pac-Man World Re-Pac.
There is a nice feature within Pac-Man World Re-Pac. If you die enough
times in a row Pac-Man World Re-Pac it will ask if you want to go onto
Easy mode. I did that a few times to get past some of the areas with
annoying parkour jumping or bosses I just kept failing at. There is a
slot machine at the end of levels within Pac-Man World Re-Pac. Players
must spin it to try and get extra lives. There are also extra lives for
every ten thousand points scored.
When I was facing the end boss in Pac-Man World Re-Pac I learned
something very important. Every member of the Pac-family you save will
throw health at you when you fight the end boss when you health gets
low. The key here is you need to have found the key and saved the family
member in previous levels. Pac-Man World Re-Pac is really clever that
way. It would have been nice if this game let me know that prior to
facing the end boss.
I do question the collision detection within Pac-Man World Re-Pac. It is
also a pain to jump in the 3D environments in some areas. Why is that?
Well when you are over nothing there is no shadow to guide you in the
jumps. So I might go away from the camera or come toward the camera
while jumping. Guess what happened? I missed the small platform I am
trying to jump too. I usually did better the second or third time. This
happened frequently while playing Pac-Man World Re-Pac.
There is no double jump in Pac-Man World Re-Pac. If you press jump while
in the air Pac-Man will butt stomp. Guess what happens when you are over
nothing? You die. I blew a lot of lives in Pac-Man World Re-Pac. The
good news is Pac-Man World Re-Pac is very generous giving out the lives.
Bank them early because you will need them later. I liked the little
maze areas in Pac-Man World Re-Pac. The kart racing level was fun.
