Octopath Traveler II

I decided I wanted to live stream Octopath Traveler II on Rumble once a week. I wound up playing this game for over a year. There was also plenty of off camera grinding performed in Octopath Traveler II. There are some serious flaws in this game. I also feel like the audience for Octopath Traveler II is the hardcore role playing gamers. Families will find plenty of frustration within this video game.

I commented in numerous live streams that the eight characters we played were the dredges of society. There are a few shining moments within the one hundred plus hours I spent with Octopath Traveler II. We have an assassin trying to gain her freedom. We have a cynical investigator that works for a church. We have a wrongfully accused man that breaks free from prison and more.

The dancer and merchant are a bit better. We also have a half beast girl that is trying to stop a disaster from befalling her island. There are eight characters in all in Octopath Traveler II. The issues families can have with Octopath Traveler II are violence, bad language, false gods, blood, lack of attire, enticement to lust, magic, and more. There is all kinds of hatred and refusing to forgive in Octopath Traveler II. In some cases the good guys are slightly less bad than the bad guys.

Expect to do a lot of mindless grinding in Octopath Traveler II. Boss battles can last for awhile in Octopath Traveler II too. I did plenty of research to find the one way to beat certain bosses. The level recommendations in Octopath Traveler II are very low. At the end of the would be fifteen levels higher than the recommendation and still lose. Octopath Traveler II is very challenging. After beating all eight characters stories I stopped. There are side quests, side dungeons, and a secret end boss. I had enough of this game.

I learned to get the merchant to get more money to purchase the really overpriced armor and weapons in Octopath Traveler II. The retro graphics remind me of 32-bit video games in some areas, and 16-bit in others. The way to certain places is extremely challenging. Enemies have weakness and their shields can be broken. Then you can do some real damage. Enemies show white, then yellow and finally red so you can see how much the fight will take.
