Miraculous Rise of the Sphinx
SCORE: 66
My dad warned me that Gamemill Entertainment had a bad image and a
bad name in the video game industry. I did not believe it until I played
Miraculous Rise of the Sphinx. This game is annoying, irritating,
frustrating, aggravating, and at times broken. I see how and why
Gamemill Entertainment got their image. The thing is they have made a
few games that are not horrible.
I like to call Miraculous Rise of the Sphinx the ladybug game. I did
that multiple times while I live streamed this video game on our YouTube
channel. Miraculous Rise of the Sphinx likes to promote the two player
gamer experience. One player can swap between characters in Miraculous
Rise of the Sphinx. This is needed since each character has a special
skill that is required to progress through the areas.
Miraculous Rise of the Sphinx does contain some violence as we bash all
of these characters that look the same in area after area. There are
puzzle portions of Miraculous Rise of the Sphinx and fighting portions.
I found the ability to take only four hits to be a bit frustrating in
Miraculous Rise of the Sphinx. I wish Miraculous Rise of the Sphinx
included an easier game play mode. Also one where things are not broken.
Players are not able to move the camera around in Miraculous Rise of the
Sphinx. We must go with whatever view the game gives us. The graphics
and art in Miraculous Rise of the Sphinx are nothing to write home about
either. The sounds and music are okay in Miraculous Rise of the Sphinx.
Those sounds and music can get a bit repetitive. There are areas in
Miraculous Rise of the Sphinx where we read the story text and others
with some voice acting.
I did not like Miraculous Rise of the Sphinx. Not one bit. I am not
familiar with the franchise. Miraculous Rise of the Sphinx does not
encourage me to check out more of this franchise. In fact Miraculous
Rise of the Sphinx makes me want to run far away from it. Yes bad games
can hurt the franchise they are made off of. No sequels are needed for
Miraculous Rise of the Sphinx.
