KeyWe

One of the coolest thing about playing KeyWe for a live stream was the support we received. There are viewers that have been looking for someone to play KeyWe. It is always nice to play the game and find fans of that game. This is a cute little puzzle video game where one or two family members can play at the same time. We play with two kiwis in KeyWe. I am talking about the little birds, not the fruit.

The two little birds get a job at a local postal station way out in the outback in KeyWe. The thing that I found most interesting about KeyWe is the different duties we could do. Players can enjoy a tutorial at the start of each level in KeyWe. Players can also skip the tutorial if they think they know what to do. As we progress in KeyWe the games get more difficult. Like these annoying flies will get in the way and steal things.

We can send messages in a variety of ways in KeyWe. For example we may need to look around the area and find the tape to hear and see the message. Then we must look around and find the words or part of the words. We grab the words and move them to where we send the message. We need to take the completed message to the big bird that will deliver it. Before it will deliver the message we must feed it a treat, and cinch up the buckles.

There are parts of KeyWe where both birds must do the same thing at the same time. Both must press down on a button at the same point in time. This is pretty easy to do in single player mode. I pressed LB and then the X button so the birds did it at the same time. We can also spell out messages by pressing letters found around one level. We can send packages. This one confused me a bit. I could never tell what label to actually use.

There are little bonus games where we can earn extra stamps in KeyWe. I love how helpful the characters are in this game. The graphics look okay. They feel a bit dated, but this was an indie game. The sounds are nice. The gameplay is generally decent. I have a bit of confusion here and there. KeyWe definitely made me think as I played it. In fact I had numerous aha moments while playing KeyWe.
