Hokko Life

I performed three live streams of Hokko Life on YouTube. There are some interesting things within Hokko Life. There are also some concepts in Hokko Life that encourage me for some video game ideas I have. Hokko Life is an Animal Crossing clone. Hokko Life is not as good as Animal Crossing. There are some controversial and divisive content within Hokko Life as well. I will get into that in just a minute.

We wind up in this town after taking a train, and wind up settling. Not only do we settle in Hokko Life but we are bringing the town back to life. We are also building houses and making the town grow. As we progress through Hokko Life we unlock new content. For example we get the pickaxe and then can get into the mine. We collect bugs, and craft quite a bit. There is fishing in Hokko Life as well.

Hokko Life contains some content that could offend a great many families. Characters refer to other characters as they instead of the reality of he/she. Pronoun mental illness is a major part of Hokko Life. We also have shrines that we can pray to in Hokko Life. Why was that needed? Why was that included? I keep hearing that we could not do an Animal Crossing with a church, but I see other religious beliefs being included in these games.

I like planting and harvesting in Hokko Life. I wish there were some things included earlier. Like I kept looking for ways to store more of my resources in Hokko Life. A great many times I would go get resources after seeing what was needed. The same went for repairing certain items in Hokko Life. I like the concept of being able to repair items in Hokko Life. At times it made no sense though. A character has a bed but wanted another one.

Routinely we would place something in a character's house in Hokko Life. A lot of times the character's house did not have a lot of space to place it. There are a lot of different missions we could do for the villagers in Hokko Life. The villagers are also animal characters in Hokko Life. I found Hokko Life to be a bit more boring than Animal Crossing personally.
