Halo The Fall of Reach

As our free month of Peacock+ is winding down I decided to check out Halo The Fall of Reach. I need to be very clear here about a few things. I have barely played any of the Halo video games. I have watched a few seasons of the live action television show. If Halo The Fall of Reach is wrong on the lore that is something I will not pick up.

It takes one hour and four minutes to watch Halo The Fall of Reach. This is an animated movie with blood and false gods within it. For the most part Halo The Fall of Reach is the origin story of Master Chief. I know some of it from the live action television show. There are some differences between them as well. Hollywood cannot keep their own content the same.

Spoilers will be a part of my review of the Halo The Fall of Reach movie. On Peacock+ this shows as a season with one episode. There are physical copy editions of Halo The Fall of Reach as well. I noticed that in my research on this movie after watching it. The length of time is around some of the other animated movies I have seen.

The secret military unit that works on these kids is doing all kind of shady moral things. For instance they kidnap these kids and replace them with clones that die pretty quickly. Many of the kids die when they are surgically enhanced. Halo The Fall of Reach deals with necessary sacrifice versus wasting lives. At the end of the day I do not feel like this movie is clear on that.

The doctor sees something in John as a six year old. I am unclear what she saw exactly. His leadership skills are what Halo The Fall of Reach reference. But John needed to change at one point. Losing a meal taught him that lesson. He just needed to help his team. The Spartans are a family of sorts in Halo The Fall of Reach.
