G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Silent Missions Spirit #1
SCORE: 70
I noticed in one of the upcoming catalogs that there were some silent
mission G.I. Joe comic books coming. There are also certain specific
characters that are getting these comic books. I added the ones of
interest to my pull. Spirit has always been close to my heart for a
plethora of reasons. I will get more into that later. The cost of this
comic book was $3.99. There are twenty pages of comic book content.
Spoilers are going to be a part of my review of the G.I. Joe A Real
American Hero Silent Missions Spirit #1 comic book. The issues families
can have with G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Silent Missions Spirit #1
are blood, violence, and more. This is a silent comic book with no
talking in it. Everything in the story is told in the artwork. This is
like that old Snake Eyes comic book - #21 of the original Marvel G.I.
Joe comic books.
I found a kindred spirit in the character Spirit for a couple of
reasons. One I am part Indian/Native American whatever you want to call
it. Two Spirit is such a cool character. Three he has an eagle. Wounded
animals come out of the forest in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Silent
Missions Spirit #1. Spirit uses his tracking skills to find out what
hurt them. He finds a base deep in the forest.
There is some giant cyborg creature in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero
Silent Missions Spirit #1. This robotic creature is hurting other
animals in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Silent Missions Spirit #1.
Spirit and his eagle Freedom fight this thing in this base. Spirit winds
up putting this creature down. He is then evacuated out while the notes
from the scientists that created it are read.
G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Silent Missions Spirit #1 does have a
letter from the editor desk page explaining the concept of this series.
I did not know the silent issue only happened because of the team being
behind. They were able to make their deadline by having to text in the
comic book. It saved them a week. G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Silent
Missions Spirit #1 also has two sketch pages, and some advertisements
within it.
