G.I. Joe #8

As ya'll know I have been highly critical of Image Comics. I preferred the G.I. Joe and Transformers comic books from IDW Publishing. Image has made so many mistakes that they are a really easy target to whack. There are some aspects to G.I. Joe #8 that are actually decent. More on that in a bit in this review. G.I. Joe #8 cost me $3.99. There are twenty pages of comic book content within G.I. Joe #8.

Warning! Spoilers from this point forward. The credits can be found on the front of the back cover. There are two letter pages in G.I. Joe #8 where only those that bow down and worship them are given any space. There is a four page preview of Ghost Pepper in G.I. Joe #8. That preview has some lack of attire and enticement to lust issues. The cover gallery is on the back cover of the G.I. Joe #8 comic books. Credits are found on the back of the front cover.

The issues families can have with G.I. Joe #8 are violence, blood, bad language and more. The ugly tones and coloring continues in G.I. Joe #8. There is a bit of humor within G.I. Joe #8 as well. Duke is making the team practice again and again in G.I. Joe #8. They are getting a bit tired but Cobra messed them up before. So Duke wants them to be perfect in the future. The team does not know when Cobra will strike next.

Cobra Commander is giving Destro information about the Transformers in G.I. Joe #8. Destro wants to know more but Cobra Commander does not want to become expendable in the near future. Cover Girl tags along while the Baroness receives a forty-eight hour pass. The two have some humorous moments within G.I. Joe #8. The Baroness is still a wanted war criminal in G.I. Joe #8. We learn that the Baroness is there to see her parents at their anniversary. She does not want them to know she is there.

I enjoyed the heart felt moment within G.I. Joe #8. I also liked how Raptor showed up in G.I. Joe #8. He is there to bring the Baroness to Major Bludd. It has been a slow slog but we are finally getting some more and interesting characters in this series. I like how Raptor has all these falcons that work for him. The figure only had one and I believe there was only one in the previous cartoons. It actually makes sense for him to have a whole flock.
