G.I. Joe #6

I am thankful I had the $3.99 to purchase a copy of the G.I. Joe #6 comic book. The credits can be found on the back of the front cover of this comic book. There are twenty pages of comic book content within G.I. Joe #6. There are two letter pages after the comic book content. We then get some advertisements for other related comic books. The back of this comic book contains the alternate covers.

The color tones within G.I. Joe #6 give me a headache. This is what I really do not like about the art in this series. I did notice some interesting things within this comic book. Spoilers will be an part of this comic book review. When Duke and Cobra Commander are talking there is some background art showing their pasts. I like how those pages were done.

The issues families can have with G.I. Joe #6 are violence, blood, bad language and more. Cobra Commander is about to release this brain bomb. Duke is trying to stop him. The only way to stop the brain bomb is for the doctor hooked up to the device to be killed. Duke refuses to do that. Ultimately Cobra Commander does it to save his own skin.

The Joes survive and Duke realizes the team is what is really important. Duke really comes around in G.I. Joe #6. Cobra got something they wanted as well in the end. There is a bit of a shock twist ending in G.I. Joe #6. A Transformer reveals himself to one of the Joes. That reveal is interesting and promises some kind of a crossover in the near future.

The letters pages references this issue is the end of the first act. I am not sure where the storyline will go after G.I. Joe #6. There are issues and problems with this series. I have a better idea where they are going with it. G.I. Joe #6 is interesting enough that I will continue to read the series for a bit longer. I hope they get to better art soon.
