G. I. Joe #12
SCORE: 68
G. I. Joe #12 is an one shot, but at the same time it is not an one
shot. I will get into that more later. The G. I. Joe #12 comic book cost
me $3.99. There are twenty pages of comic book content within G. I. Joe
#12. The credits can be found on the back of the front cover of the G.
I. Joe #12 comic book. The cover gallery is on the back cover of the G.
I. Joe #12 comic book. The two letter pages are called Straight Shooter.
Spoilers will be a part of this review. The issues families can have
with G. I. Joe #12 are violence, blood, bad language, and more. Night
Force continues to grow slowly. G. I. Joe #12 is in essence a
recruitment of a character to Night Force. So while this feels like an
one shot it is also building upon something. There is a character
spotlight page, and four page preview of G. I. Joe #13.
G. I. Joe #12 starts with Duke talking to Colonel Hawk. There are things
Duke is not being told yet. Next we are in Darklonia where Flint, Lady
Jaye, and Beach Head are there to break someone out of jail. Who is it?
Jodie Craig. Her codename is Shooter. I am honestly not familiar with
her. Maybe one of those DEI hires. She is supposed to be a really good
sniper in G. I. Joe #12. She was sent into Darklonia to kill someone.
The leader of Darklonia is Darklon. He thinks the sniper is there to
kill him. We find out later in G. I. Joe #12 that the target was
actually Ivana. She is a murderer that tortures Shooter quite a bit in
G. I. Joe #12. Shooter gets her target in G. I. Joe #12. The team
escapes as well. Cobra Commander and Destro fix up Major Bludd in G. I.
Joe #12 with some new eyes. He is now loyal to Cobra.
Destro is plotting behind Cobra Commander's back in G. I. Joe #12.
Destro has an idea though. What if he aids the enemies of Cobra
Commander. Then the last page of G. I. Joe #12 shows us the Dreadnoks. I
know the Dreadnok War is coming up next. G. I. Joe #12 shows that things
are starting to get more interesting. I like how they keep adding new
characters to the franchise. Much of the art in G. I. Joe #12 is better
than in the past.
