G. I. Joe #10
SCORE: 67
I may have read this story line out of order but at least everything
makes sense to me now. The G. I. Joe #10 comic book cost me $3.99. There
are twenty pages of comic book content. After the comic book content are
two letter pages. We get a page with character spotlights on it. Then
there are some advertisements. The cover gallery can be found on the
back cover of the G. I. Joe #10 comic book. The credits are on the back
side of the front cover. Spoilers will be in this review.
G. I. Joe #10 splits the story telling out into multiple different
stories. The Baroness and Cover Girl fight in the pit in G. I. Joe #10
for Major Bludd. G. I. Joe #10 makes it look like Cover Girl is dead.
Major Bludd comes down into the pit to find out she is alive. She breaks
one of his ankles in the process. The Baroness and Major Bludd start to
fight it out. Cover Girl goes to save the parents of the Baroness.
Destro has some concerns about Cobra Commander in G. I. Joe #10. Destro
goes to check out the secret laboratory of Cobra Commander. Can you
guess who shows up? Yes Cobra Commander shows up and does not appreciate
the invasion of privacy in G. I. Joe #10. The Autobot and Clutch go out
to find some Energon from Mars Industries. They are followed by Risk.
Can you guess what Risk thinks in G. I. Joe #10? He thinks Clutch is a
traitor.
There are a lot of Cobra Vipers that show up with Mercer at Mars
Industries in G. I. Joe #10. There is also an ace in the deck for the
heroes. Can you guess what that is? It happens to be the Autobot that is
right behind Mercer and his Cobra Vipers. I know how that goes for Cobra
in the next issue. It is a nice little cliffhanger in G. I. Joe #10
though. I can still appreciate it even if I know what happens next.
The whole Destro and Cobra Commander thing feels weird to me. Destro
wants to know more but just totally backs off. If it bothered him that
much he would expend more effort to find out. Or maybe Destro has seen
what he needed to see in G. I. Joe #10. There are experiments in these
giant glass tubes in G. I. Joe #10. Some of them are really messed up in
G. I. Joe #10. I can see how Cover Girl and the Baroness bonded in this
storyline.
