Final Fight #4

I have multiple reasons to be excited about Final Fight #4. First and foremost this is the final issue of this series. Secondly the art continues to be fantastic. Finally it is neat to see how the series progressed over the four issues. Honestly it could have probably wrapped up in quicker time, but I am not complaining about that. Final Fight #4 cost me $4.99. There are twenty-two pages of comic book content within Final Fight #4.

Spoilers are going to be a part of this review. The issues families can have with Final Fight #4 are violence, blood, lack of attire, enticement to lust, and more. Final Fight #4 feels like fan service to me in some ways. Let me explain. Have you ever watched a movie or pro wrestling and the good guy wins? Well most entertainment has the good guy winning in the end. In fact there are moments where the good guy finally gets his hands on the bad guy. Final Fight #4 has moments like that.

There is some humor within Final Fight #4 as well. The cliffhanger ending turns out well from the last issue. The mayor and the bad guy survive the fall out of the window because he knows how to take a fall. That is something the mayor learned in pro wrestling. With the leader down someone else takes control of Mad Gear. There are a lot of guys for the three heroes and one daughter to take on in Final Fight #4.

There is a clever way that Final Fight #4 deals with this problem. Ninjas and good cops show up to help the mayor in the fight. I almost feel bad for the bad guys because they are over matched instantly. All of the previous main characters from this series get trounced by different characters in Final Fight #4. The daughter even gets in on the action in Final Fight #4.

Final Fight #4 ends but it also does not end. Is this game over? There are plenty of other places that need to be freed. Final Fight #4 leaves the door open for a possible sequel in the future. I feel Final Fight #4 is a bit overpriced for the content included. I do enjoy the art and story telling. Final Fight #4 feels like the good guy finally getting to the bad guy and wrapping it up.
