Farming Life in Another World Vol 9
SCORE: 69
There are a couple of manga books that I inhale very quickly. Shield
Hero is of course top dog on that list. A little bit behind it is
Farming Life in Another World. I just finished reading Farming Life in
Another World Vol 9 in a couple of days. This manga book contains one
hundred and sixty-eight pages just like the last one. Farming Life in
Another World Vol 9 contains chapters one hundred and sixty-nine to one
hundred and ninety.
I noticed something recently. I am getting close to getting caught up on
this series just like I am with Shield Hero. I will have to find another
series to transition to. Spoilers are a part of this review. The issues
families can have with Farming Life in Another World Vol 9 are violence,
magic, lack of attire, enticement to lust, false gods, and more. We are
introduced to the Spirit King in Farming Life in Another World Vol 9.
We are also introduced to these black rocks that are sending out these
black tendrils. The Spirit King was behind the tunnels and monsters that
the team in the previous books dealt with. The Spirit King is defeated
and then loses all memories and turns into a little girl by the name
Urza. The angels are worried about what happens if others learn who she
is. So she winds up living in Tall Tree Village.
Hiraku turns one of the giant black rocks into a false idol that others
want to go and worship. It starts glowing like the one in the village.
Hiraku builds a door for the shrine as well. One team did not report
back so Hiraku and his other team go and look for them. They find giant
bugs have them trapped in a corner. The giants are there so the dragons
cannot use their flames. They are freed and giant holes are left.
Winter comes which means less time to work outside. One of the maids
misses watching Urza so she uses Hiraku to hopefully get herself a
daughter. During the day time too. Races are done on a race track which
balloons into a big deal for the village. Strategy and stamina are
discussed. There are lessons learned in terms of racing in Farming Life
in Another World Vol 9. I feel like there is so much more of this world
to be explored. I also wish Farming Life in Another World Vol 9 had
spent more time on the economics of the villages.
