Emma in the Mountains

You know what I love the most about what I do at Family Friendly Gaming? There are so many interesting, fun, and fresh products for us to interact with. I love finding interesting products that were missed for whatever reason. Emma in the Mountains on the Nintendo DS is one of those products. I wish the people behind this game had interacted with Family Friendly Gaming back when this video game was released. Since they failed us we are working on it now.

The things families can do in Emma in the Mountains are Story, Activities, Bonuses and Options. Emma in the Mountains contains coloring, puzzles, and fact sheets. There is some learning potential and opportunities within Emma in the Mountains. As mini games are unlocked in the story mode they can be played in the Activities mode.

The music within Emma in the Mountains is fun. The graphics look decent in this hand held video games. There is a limitation to the animation within Emma in the Mountains. There is some exploration within Emma in the Mountains. There are different animals that players will have conversations with in this Nintendo DS video game.

Expect to use your stylus quite often while playing Emma in the Mountains. I noticed some humor within Emma in the Mountains. A good example is when the uncle is sleeping and the dog offers to bite him. I got a little smile out of that suggestion. We interacted with different objects to make noise. Eventually the uncle woke up.

I can see where many families would consider Emma in the Mountains to be a game mainly for girls. There are aspects of Emma in the Mountains that feel like they are for girls like the dressing Emma. Then there are others like the snow ball fight that could be more for boys. Parents will need to decide for themselves on this hand held video game.
