DuckTales #8

I am pretty sure that DuckTales #8 is an one shot. At least what happens in the storyline makes me think that. The cost of the DuckTales #8 comic book was $4.99. There are twenty-two pages of comic book content within DuckTales #8. The credits are in two places in DuckTales #8. The first place is on the back of the front cover. The second place is on the first page with art.

After the comic book content in DuckTales #8 we get a page devoted to the next issue, and then some advertisements. Right near the end of DuckTales #8 is the cover gallery. Warning spoilers are enroute. Scrooge, the boys and Fenton are going to an asteroid. Scrooge has a mine up there. Fenton is also Gizmoduck. Sadly Gizmoduck is in some hot water figuratively.

The Beagle Boys were robbing a bank and Gizmoduck stopped them. In the process of saving the bank a lot of damage was done. There was more damage than what the Beagle Boys would have been able to steal. Scrooge plans on leaving Fenton up on this asteroid so he cannot do anymore damage. Unfortunately something bad happens.

These space pirates show up to rob the mine in DuckTales #8. Scrooge and the boys are in trouble in this comic book. Gizmoduck shows up to fight off the pirates in DuckTales #8. There is a bit of cartoon violence within DuckTales #8. The space pirates almost get the Gizmoduck suit off of Fenton in DuckTales #8. Thankfully he hangs on to beat them and save everyone.

Gizmoduck calculates the damage to the mine and how long it will take to fix everything up. Scrooge decides not to leave Fenton aka Gizmoduck up there on this asteroid. Instead Fenton can come back to Earth. The heart of Fenton/Gizmoduck is in the right place. I love how he saves his friends in DuckTales #8.
