DuckTales #6

I did not realize at first that the DuckTales comic book series has already made it to the sixth issue. DuckTales #6 feels really similar to me. The cost of the DuckTales #6 comic book was $4.99. There are twenty pages of comic book content within DuckTales #6. The credits are found on the front of the back cover of this comic book. There is a page devoted to the next issue, ads, and a cover gallery near the end of the DuckTales #6 comic book.

Spoilers will be a part of this review going forward. Scrooge and his nephews go to Eendstat in DuckTales #6. There are there to look for the three golden eggs laid by the golden goose. There is an interesting problem for the four of them when they get to the town. They are denied service. The young characters Huey, Dewey and Louie are rejected when they tried to buy apples. Uncle Scrooge offered to pay, but they will not sell to him.

Immediately I had some idea of what was going on in DuckTales #6. I figured there was some doppelganger theme going on in DuckTales #6. Do you think I was right? Do you think I was totally wrong? The next destination is a mill in DuckTales #6. The four of them go there to meet an elderly goose lady in DuckTales #6. Can you guess how she will be important going forward? If not I will share in a little bit.

The boys of this elderly goose are Kwek, Kwik, and Kwak. These are the three trouble makers that look a lot like Huey, Dewey, and Louie. The elderly goose lady makes a deal with Scrooge McDuck. If they will teach her boys a lesson she will tell them where to find the three golden eggs. The four of them happily agree to these terms in DuckTales #6. The four of them go to town when the other three are making trouble in the village.

The villagers are shocked to see six of the trouble makers in DuckTales #6. They then realize that three of them are actually good. Huey, Dewey, and Louie beat up the other three in DuckTales #6. There is some cartoon violence in this comic book. The elderly goose lady was sitting on the three golden eggs. She is of course the golden goose. She can easily get more of those eggs.
