Broken Sword Shadow Of The Templars Directors Cut

I found myself looking around for some new, interesting, and/or different Nintendo DS video games to play and review. I came across Broken Sword Shadow Of The Templars Directors Cut. This is a point and click video game that I must come completely clean about. I am not a fan of the point and click genre. Way too often what needs to be done to progress makes little to no sense to me.

I find it interesting that a directors cut is on the Nintendo DS. Being able to tap on the screen generally works well. At times I would need to press on the screen in a certain area and see what would come up for me. At times Broken Sword Shadow Of The Templars Directors Cut is not very intuitive. Other times I would try something and nothing happened. Did I tap correctly?

There is adult only content within Broken Sword Shadow Of The Templars Directors Cut. Players take on the role of a female reporter invited to do an interview on a wealthy well know married man. This man is known for his marital indiscretions. Since she is a female reporter it is expected that he will hit on her at the very least. A mime breaks in and kills the man before the interview can occur.

There is a connection between the man murdered and the main character's father. Part of the mystery with Broken Sword Shadow Of The Templars Directors Cut is finding out what exactly that connection was. There is also trying to find out why he was murdered. Why would a mime do such a thing in Broken Sword Shadow Of The Templars Directors Cut? Players must solve all the different mysteries to find out. Or just look it up online.

The issues families can have with Broken Sword Shadow Of The Templars Directors Cut are violence, bad language, sexual content, blood, adult themes and more. The music in Broken Sword Shadow Of The Templars Directors Cut is fantastic. It really builds throughout the game and at different parts. The depths to the music is what impressed me the most. The gameplay gave me fits though.
