Boardwalk Arcade 2
SCORE: 80
Ya’ll know me. I am constantly looking for opportunities to play
different video games. I am always looking for interesting video games
for families. I go through my pile of games awaiting my attention and
decide to try something here and there when I get the time. That is how
I started to play Boardwalk Arcade 2 on the Nintendo Switch. This game
reminded me of some other video games in the past.
Families can play Boardwalk Arcade 2 with one player up to four players.
I did the one player experience to see how that went. The biggest take
away for me concerning Boardwalk Arcade 2 is the feel. I felt like this
was a fair kind of a video game. I have been to numerous fairs in my
lifetime and Boardwalk Arcade 2 brought me that nostalgia and feel. It
honestly felt pretty good to me.
I am so happy there is a physical copy edition of Boardwalk Arcade 2.
That is what I played. There is also a digital download of Boardwalk
Arcade 2 for those interested. The mini games within Boardwalk Arcade 2
are Shooting Gallery, Whack-A-Mole, Basketball, Skill Ball, Darts, Mini
Bowling, Frog Launch, Pinball, and Claw. There is also a Redemption
Area, and Prize Gallery in this arcade video game.
As we play the mini games in Boardwalk Arcade 2 we earn tickets. Those
tickets can be used on different prizes in the Redemption Area. The
sounds in Boardwalk Arcade 2 are okay. When there is music in Boardwalk
Arcade 2 it sounds nice. There are some quiet moments in Boardwalk
Arcade 2. I had a lot of fun playing Boardwalk Arcade 2. I earned some
prizes and then looked at them in the Prize Gallery.
Before you play a mini game the controls are explained. Boardwalk Arcade
2 can be played connected to a controller or with the Joy Cons out.
Pinball is the only one out of the ten where the controls bothered me.
Otherwise the controls were really good in Boardwalk Arcade 2. Families
can enjoy Boardwalk Arcade 2 for a few weeks at least. You can always
try to beat your high scores too.
