Adventure Time #3
SCORE: 68
The newness of this Adventure Time series is gone. I am starting to
see why Adventure Time loses people. Adventure Time #3 cost me $4.99.
There are twenty pages of comic book content in the main storyline in
Adventure Time #3. There are also two pages of Best of Buds. I have no
idea why these two page stories are continuing. Honestly they make zero
sense to me. There is a page devoted to the next issue, some alternate
covers and some ads in Adventure Time #3.
Warning! Spoilers! Warning! I let you know to expect spoilers from here
on out. The issues families can have with Adventure Time #3 are
violence, magic, sexual deviancy and more. The main characters are at an
art festival thing. The Impressionist shows up and uses a magic brush to
move a bunch of the characters into the paintings. The characters are
shown in all kinds of different art styles in Adventure Time #3.
Ice King actually helps out in Adventure Time #3. He draws at about the
same skill level I do. I actually took an art class in high school
because I had to take some elective to be more well rounded. Or so the
annoying laws of the state of Washington told us. Maybe it was just the
faculty in education. I do not know for certain who forced us to take
those electives in my time in high school. I was horrible at drawing.
The credits can be found on the back of the front cover of the Adventure
Time #3 comic book. A stick drawing of a diving board is made in
Adventure Time #3. The characters stuck in the paintings can hop from
painting to painting. So they hop over there and hop out of the
paintings. How did they get that idea? Well Jake was throwing apples out
of a painting at the bad guy.
The majority of Adventure Time #3 is totally pointless and a waste of
time. The final couple of pages have Billy show up, and maybe things
will progress in the next issue. I honestly do not expect it to though.
The two page story in Adventure Time #3 at the end is called Chill Hero.
This delivery character with no arms shows up with a burrito. He is
given a sword and goes and talks to someone scaring these slimes. The
guy apologizes and he is hailed as a hero. Someone else wants to know
where their burrito is.
