Adventure Time #2

I must admit I do not recall hearing of Oni-Press before I started reading this series. Adventure Time #2 continues the storyline sort of. I will get into that in just a little bit. The cost of this comic book was $4.99. There are two stories within Adventure Time #2. The first story in Adventure Time #2 is Best of Buds Part two. That story is twenty pages long. The second story is Donny's Day and it is two pages long.

There will be spoilers in my review of the Adventure Time #2 comic book. The credits are on the back of the front cover. Finn and Jake are on their way to find Billy. Unfortunately something comes up. Jake talks about having to take detours when adventuring in Adventure Time #2. That is what happens this issue and it looks like it will also happen in the next issue. How long will these detours take? How long before readers lose interest?

The credits for Adventure Time #2 can be found on the back of the front cover. The various alternate covers can be found near the end of the Adventure Time #2 comic book. There are also advertisements after that. We also get a page devoted to the next issue after the twenty-two pages of comic book content within Adventure Time #2. We meet Henry Alexander in Adventure Time #2.

Henry is in love with a woman that passed some gas. Henry did not react the best to it and she is now mad at him. He is in love with her and is writing all these poems. So Finn, Jake, Neptr, and Flame Princess decide to come up with a rap to reach the love of Henry's life. Along the way the feelings Finn and Flame Princess have for one another are coming to the surface.

Henry is reunited with his love (who is the mist in that well), and those two are happy. Flame Princess invites Finn to an art show. Donny's Day is about this bully asking the guy he picks on to come with him to see his father getting out of prison. It almost becomes a heart felt moment until Donny punches this guy away when he connects again with his father. Adventure Time #2 was so close there.
