Transformers Shattered Glass II #2

I was unable to find Transformers Shattered Glass II #2 at our local comic book stores. It must have sold out before we could make a purchase. I did find the next couple of issues. I like to try and read things in order whenever possible. So I paid extra money to get a copy of the Transformers Shattered Glass II #2 comic book from an online retailer. This comic book has worked its way through my pile into my reading lap. There will be spoilers in this review.

I am thankful I had the time to read Transformers Shattered Glass II #2 as well as the money to purchase it. If you remember the review of the last comic book in this series then you know the fantasy science fiction universe is backwards. The Autobots are evil and the Decepticons are good in Transformers Shattered Glass II #2. It takes a lot to get used to that. The Autobots symbol is the same except for the color. The autobots symbol is purple. That means the Decepticons symbols are red.

The main characters used within Transformers Shattered Glass II #2 are Blaster, Slicer, Rodimus, and Soundwave. The reason characters are fighting is a bit muddy to me in Transformers Shattered Glass II #2. I really found Blaster's background story to be interesting within Transformers Shattered Glass II #2. It is a shame he had to get murdered in this comic book.

Supposedly if you fail the Autobots you are killed. That seems a bit short sided to me. If you as a leader keep killing everyone who fails then you will have less troops. That would eventually lead to your downfall. Logic dictates something like a demotion for failure. Or find a way to make them learn from the failure so they succeed next time. Ultimately that concept bothered me.

Rodimus is horrible in Transformers Shattered Glass II #2. He is a spark thirsty bot that loves killing and destroying. New Kaon is referenced multiple times within Transformers Shattered Glass II #2. Blaster got setup for failure in Transformers Shattered Glass II #2 and then was blamed for the failure. I find that terribly unfair. The one shot kind of story in Transformers Shattered Glass II #2 does not really help me like this universe any better. Quite the opposite in fact.
